Job summary

Ipsos is recruiting a Field Market Research Interviewer to cover local bus routes and stations, talking with passengers to help improve public transport across the UK. Each shift comes with a tablet, survey materials and ID to perform your role confidently.

You will approach passengers, conduct short surveys, and record responses while capturing journey feedback. It’s independent work in public spaces, with flexible, part-time shifts and free bus travel for survey routes.

Qualifications

• Confident speaking to members of the public.
• Comfortable working independently in different locations.
• Able to stay motivated even when responses are low.
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
• Happy travelling locally and working on buses.
• Looking for flexible, ongoing fieldwork opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Approach passengers and invite them to take part in a short survey.
• Ask a set of structured questions and accurately record responses.
• Capture feedback on their journey and experience.
• Occasionally count passenger numbers (footfall).
