Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) seeks a Bank Facilities Assistant across multiple sites. The role covers Domestic, Catering and Portering tasks within hospitals, health centres and clinics.

Training will be provided and shifts are flexible to cover service needs. With NHS AfC Band 2, this bank role offers hourly pay (£12.92) and zero-hour contracts, inviting applicants who are reliable, keen to learn, and committed to patient care.

Qualifications

• Basic Numeracy and Literacy skills or willing to work towards
• NVQ in Cleaning
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Basic Health and Safety Certificate

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistant duties: maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across hospital sites
• Catering Assistant duties: serve meals, maintain cleanliness, support with functions
• Portering duties: transport supplies, linen, mail, waste and furniture across Trust sites
• Work across different IFM sites and shifts as needed
• Training will be provided and flexibility offered for shifts and sites
