Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Bank Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Services across Blossomwood Hospital and Mansfield sites. This zero hour contract supports Domestic, Portering and Catering duties with a training program and uniform provided.

Working pattern is seven days a week, 11:30 to 18:00 with a 30-minute break; the role focuses on cleanliness, infection prevention and safe serving of nutritious meals in line with food hygiene legislation.

Qualifications

• An understanding of cleanliness and good hygiene practices
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or to work towards within 12 months of employment (site specific)
• Understanding of a small number of routine work procedures developed through on the job training / experience.
• Recognised catering, cleaning or support services qualification

Responsibilities

• Facilities provides a wide range of non clinical support services to patients, staff and visitors.
• The services include Cleaning, Catering (including serving patient food) and Portering.
