Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Bank Facilities Assistant to work across Blossomwood Hospital and Mansfield sites on a zero-hours bank contract. The role is NHS AfC Band 2 with a pay rate of £12.92 per hour, serving in Domestic, Portering and Catering departments.

Full training will be provided; working hours include 7 days a week and Bank Holidays, with a 11:30–18:00 shift (30 min break). The post requires commitment to hygiene, safety and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• An understanding of cleanliness and good hygiene practices
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or to work towards within the 12 months of employment (site specific)
• Understanding of a small number of routine work procedures developed through on the job training / experience.
• Recognised catering, cleaning or support services qualification

Responsibilities

• Full training will be given in all departments and uniform will be provided
• Working hours will be 7 days a week including Bank Holidays 11.30 - 6.00 (30 min break)
• Facilities provides a wide range of non clinical support services to patients, staff and visitors
• Commitment to teamwork and delivering high-quality patient and customer service
