Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting Nursery Assistants, Early Years Practitioners and Learning Support Staff in the BS4 area to support children aged 2 to 5. You will help create safe, nurturing environments and assist with play-based learning, phonics, and early literacy development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in Early Years settings.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Comfortable supporting children aged 2 to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Encouraging communication, language development and early literacy skills.
• Assisting with phonics foundations, number awareness and play-based learning activities.
• Helping children develop confidence, independence and positive social skills.
• Supporting daily routines including mealtimes, outdoor learning and transitions throughout the day.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Promoting a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND, where required.
