Job summary

Bright Horizons Lancaster is seeking a flexible Nursery Practitioner to join the Bright Flex/Bank team at our Tingley nursery. You will support EYFS delivery by engaging children in educational activities to promote development, while working with a larger team to complete daily tasks.

The role offers a supportive environment with an outstanding DBS safety focus. The position requires Level 3 or equivalent and experience with children, along with strong communication and safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above
• Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues with EYFS delivery through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging development toward key milestones.
• Work as part of a larger team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
