Job summary

Bright Horizons Trafford Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team. You will support the delivery of the EYFS by engaging children in educational activities and assisting the team with daily tasks such as room tidying and preparation.

The role is suitable for individuals with a Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification who enjoy making learning fun and can communicate effectively with children and adults.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support EYFS delivery through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
• Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
