A leading education recruitment agency in Romford is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for day-to-day supply roles across nursery and reception classes. The ideal candidate will have relevant childcare qualifications and experience with children aged 0–5. Qualifications
Relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education).
Experience working with children aged 0–5 in nursery or school settings.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different settings.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Responsibilities
Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities.
Assist with planning and delivering engaging EYFS curriculum content.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Provide feedback on children’s progress and contribute to observations.
Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times.
