Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking a bank of variable hours Examination Invigilators to supervise GCSE examinations at Carshalton College on scheduled dates. You will ensure venues comply with awarding body regulations, collect materials from the exams office and guide candidates in access and entry.

Ideal candidates will have examination administration experience, be reliable and punctual, and capable of supervising up to 400 candidates with strong communication and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Previous experience in examination administration.
• Reliable, punctual and able to handle venues up to 400 candidates.
• Excellent communication, meticulous and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Open and distribute exam papers.
• Collect exam materials from the exams office prior to start of examinations.
• Enter attendance and maintain the Examinations' Diary.
• Manage entry of candidates into venues and store belongings.
• Supervise venues and maintain vigilance for the full exam duration.
