TeacherActive is seeking experienced English Teachers to join the Salisbury and South Wiltshire supply team. Roles range from day-to-day bookings to short-term and longer placements, with flexibility to shape when and where you work.

Ideal candidates hold QTS in English, have KS3/KS4 English teaching experience, and demonstrate strong classroom presence and adaptability to different schools and schemes of work.

Qualifications

• QTS with English Language/Literature specialization.
• Experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different schools, pupils and schemes of work.
• Professional, dependable approach to short-notice and pre-booked supply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons across a variety of secondary schools.
• Maintain high expectations and manage behaviour to support learning.
• Establish positive classroom environments from the start of each day.
