Job summary

Corus Consultancy in North London is seeking an English Teacher (KS3–KS5) for flexible supply work and long-term block bookings.

You will deliver engaging curriculum-aligned English lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5, manage behaviour effectively, and map student progress for ongoing placements.

QTS or ECTs welcome; DBS check preferred. This role supports local schools and MATs under RM6376 with competitive day rates.

About the Role

Are you a qualified or experienced English Teacher looking for flexible supply work or a guaranteed long-term block booking? We are actively building our North London talent pool to support local school's and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) under the DfE-approved RM6376 framework.

We have immediate requirements for subject specialists capable of delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3, 4 or 5 to join our books for upcoming short-term and long-term placements.

What You Will Do

• Deliver high-quality, curriculum-compliant English lessons to pupils across Key Stage 3, 4 or 5.
• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment using proactive behaviour management.
• Map student progress and provide constructive feedback (for long-term placements).

Requirements

• Relevant degree or teaching credential in English or a related discipline (QTS/ECTs welcome).
• Proven experience delivering the UK curriculum at Key Stage 3, 4 or 5.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
