Job summary

Class Act is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for day-to-day supply across Lechlade and surrounding areas. You will support learning for ages 0–5, help plan and deliver activities under EYFS, and foster a safe, nurturing environment while recording progress.

The ideal candidate holds Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education, has nursery experience, great communication and teamwork, and a willingness to work across different settings. An Enhanced DBS (Update Service) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work across different settings with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5.
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with EYFS.
• Promote a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
• Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals.
• Support children with personal care routines and hygiene.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support development.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and inclusive learning space.
