Job summary

Thrive Pudsey, a well-established nursery in Leeds, is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join on a flexible supply basis. This zero-hours contract offers flexible hours, competitive pay of £13.45 per hour, and the chance to work across indoor and outdoor environments delivering high-quality care and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Safeguarding knowledge and promoting children’s welfare.
• Ability to work flexibly to nursery needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Deliver stimulating learning experiences through play and planned activities.
• Support children’s individual learning and development.
• Support daily routines, activities and holiday cover.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Work effectively as part of a skilled Early Years team.
• Promote health, safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Follow nursery policies and safeguarding requirements.
