Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment seeks a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for Southwest London with an ASAP start. Salary is £14-£15 per hour, with flexible supply or longer-term positions offered.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 EY qualification or a relevant degree (Early Childhood Studies or BA Early Years) and have experience in early years settings. DBS and safeguarding compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or degree in Early Childhood Studies/BA Early Years.
• Experience in nursery or early years settings is desirable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.
• Prepare stimulating learning environments; keep rooms safe, clean and organized.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Support children's individual needs and promote inclusive learning.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure health and safety of children.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality early years education.
• Attend staff meetings and relevant training as required.
