Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support early years learning in a welcoming setting. We look for Level 2 or 3 qualified staff with a passion for EYFS and creating a safe, engaging environment for children.

Flexible day-to-day and longer-term opportunities are available through TeacherActive, with a dedicated consultant to support your placement and access to CPD progressions.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Warm and enthusiastic temperament
• Reliable and flexible mindset

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in line with EYFS
• Create fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development
• Maintain a safe, stimulating nursery environment
• Help children develop confidence and new skills
