Job summary

Bright Horizons Trafford is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at Trafford nursery. You will help deliver the EYFS through engaging children in educational activities and support colleagues with daily tasks in a friendly, upwardly mobile environment.

You will work as part of a larger team to ensure essential duties, such as room preparation and tidying, are completed, whilst maintaining high standards of safeguarding and interaction with children.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues with the delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities
• Encourage children’s development towards key milestones
• Work as part of a larger team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation
