Job summary

Bright Horizons Moortown Nursery in Leeds is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex/Bank team. You will support colleagues in delivering EYFS activities, helping children progress toward key milestones and ensuring daily tasks such as room tidying are completed.

You should hold a full Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification, have prior nursery experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and safeguarding awareness.

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children in nursery settings.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for
