Job summary

Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery is hiring a Nursery Practitioner to support EYFS delivery as part of our Bright Flex/Bank team. The role offers flexible hours and part-time opportunities, with the chance to work in a warm, supportive environment within Saffron Walden CB11.

You will hold a full Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification and bring experience with children. The position includes DBS checks and a staff discount, with benefits including pension and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.
• Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones.
• You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
