Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is seeking self-employed delivery drivers in the Exeter area for early-morning routes. You will pack newspapers and magazines for delivery, then follow a dedicated daily route to approximately 20–30 customers.

As a self-employed driver, you’ll benefit from early shifts that free daytime hours for family or other work, with weekly payments and a start-up option. A van is required or access can be arranged through us.

Qualifications

• Valid UK or European driving licence.
• Access to a 3.5T van (1050–1200 kg capacity) depending on route.
• We can help point you in the right direction for a van.

Responsibilities

• Pack newspapers and magazines for delivery.
• Follow a dedicated daily route.
• Deliver to ~20–30 customers.
• Collect returns and recycling bags.
• Scan returned products at the depot.
