Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is seeking self-employed drivers to support newspaper and magazine deliveries across the Exeter area. The role offers early morning hours (3:00am - 9:00am) with weekly payments and the flexibility to work 2, 3, 5 or 7 days per week.

You will pack newspapers, follow a dedicated route, deliver to around 20–30 customers, collect returns, and scan items at the depot. A UK or European driving licence and access to a 3.5T van are required, with onboarding completed promptly and

• Access to a suitable 3.5T van (route dependent).

Responsibilities

• Packing newspapers and magazines ready for delivery.
• Following a dedicated delivery route.
• Delivering to approximately 20-30 customers.
• Collecting returns and recycling bags.
• Scanning returned products back at the depot.
