Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is seeking self-employed drivers for early-morning delivery routes in the Exeter Area. You’ll pack and deliver newspapers and magazines along a dedicated route to about 20-30 customers, with returns scanned at the depot.

Earn up to £45,000 per year, paid weekly, plus a £1,000 startup payment. Onboarding takes three days; routes are available immediately and earnings can grow with additional routes.

Qualifications

• A valid UK or European Driving Licence.
• Access to a 3.5T van with carrying capacity between 1050kg and 1200kg (route dependent).

Responsibilities

• Packing newspapers and magazines for delivery.
• Following a dedicated daily route.
• Delivering to approximately 20-30 customers.
• Collecting returns and recycling bags.
• Scanning returned products back at the depot.
