Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is recruiting for a Self-Employed Driver in the Exeter area. You will pack newspapers and magazines, follow a fixed daily route, and deliver to about 20–30 customers each day before starting your day. Earn up to £45,000 per annum with weekly payments and a supportive onboarding process.

The role offers a £1,000 start‑up payment and immediate routes, with early morning shifts from 3:00am to 9:00am, allowing your day to be free for family or other work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK or European Driving Licence.
• Access to a 3.5T van with carrying capacity 1050–1200 kg (route dependent).

Responsibilities

• Packing newspapers and magazines ready for delivery.
• Following a dedicated daily route.
• Delivering to approximately 20-30 customers.
• Collecting returns and recycling bags.
• Scanning returned products back at the depot.

Skills
