Job summary

Bassetlaw District Council is seeking an Applications and Digital Development Officer to support, develop and maintain business applications and digital services within our ICT team. You will help improve systems, streamline processes and introduce new technologies that enhance public services.

The role involves administering key business applications, analyzing requirements, implementing enhancements, and collaborating with colleagues across the Council.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or administering business applications or ICT systems.
• Confidence with Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and with others.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer the Council's business applications and digital services.
• Analyse user requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement system enhancements and support new software projects.
• Work with data, reporting tools and system integrations.
• Assist with testing, releases and user acceptance processes.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, customers and software suppliers.
