Job summary

Bassetlaw District Council is seeking an Applications and Digital Development Officer in Worksop. The role focuses on supporting and developing the Council's business applications and digital services, with opportunities to improve systems and introduce new technologies that enhance public services.

You'll work across the ICT team, collaborating with colleagues to analyse requirements, implement enhancements and support software projects. A proactive, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or administering business applications or ICT systems.
• Confident using Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Can manage competing priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn, develop and embrace new technology.
• Relevant ICT qualifications welcomed, with value on practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and administering key business applications and digital services.
• Analysing user requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Implementing system enhancements and supporting new software projects.
• Working with data, reporting tools and system integrations.
• Assisting with testing, releases and user acceptance processes.
• Building positive relationships with colleagues, customers and software suppliers.
