Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is partnering with Royal Mail to recruit flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the Southampton area. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of your route.

Shifts vary throughout the day—Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Lates and Nights—with hourly rates ranging from £13.69 to £16.44.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Willingness to work varied shift patterns and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, using a Royal Mail van and on-foot components as needed.
• Ensure secure and timely delivery of all items, including election materials and restricted items.
• Represent Royal Mail positively in the community and provide reliable customer service during shifts.
