Job summary

Angard Recruitment supports Royal Mail in recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers across the UK. You will drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and stay active throughout the day in your local community.

Shifts vary, with opportunities across Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Lates and Nights. A driving assessment is required on start. Rates are competitive and disclosed on application, with pay reflective of shift type and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and deliver items as part of your round, with care and accuracy.
• Pass a driving assessment on start and maintain high standards of service.
