Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a flexible Collections Driver for the Kirkcaldy Delivery Office through Angard Staffing. You will be on the move, delivering letters and parcels with a focus on community service and reliability.

The role combines driving a Royal Mail van with walking parts of the route, including occasional early shifts. A driving assessment is required at the start, and you’ll work in a dynamic, outward-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round, ensuring items reach their destination safely.
• Drive the Royal Mail van while on route and handle items (including some election materials) per Royal Mail standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering a reliable, community-focused service.
