Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers as part of the Angard Staffing Solutions team. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van on your round and deliver letters and parcels on foot in your community, staying active and visible.

The role blends outdoors work with customer service, requires a full manual UK driving licence (up to 6 points), and you may need to pass a driving assessment. Shifts vary, and you’ll be paid per hour with competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Full, UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route using a van and by foot.
• Ensure secure and timely delivery in all weather conditions.
• Pass a driving assessment when you start.
