Royal Mail Delivery Driver roles in Oldbury require a full, manual UK driving licence and excellent physical fitness for walking and lifting. You will drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot, delivering letters and parcels with pride in your community.

The role offers varied shift patterns (Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Late, Night) with hourly pay and a guaranteed hours period, and there is a possibility of the position becoming permanent.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, lift and carry up to 16kg in a mailbag.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsabilités

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving, covering your round and ensuring items reach destinations safely.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot while maintaining high service standards.
• Pass a driving assessment on start and work flexibly according to shift requirements.
