Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Oldbury is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join our delivery team. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your local area, staying active and connected with the community.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, standing up to 30 hours per week, with weekend work on a rotating rota. Overtime is paid and training is provided to get you started.

Qualifications

• Must have a full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and carry mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
