Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers with Angard Staffing. You will drive a Royal Mail van on a defined route, deliver letters and parcels, and work around your local community.

This role combines driving with walking, requiring you to stay active all day. Pay rates vary by shift, with Day £13.69, Dawn £14.61, Early £14.61, Evening £14.38, Late £15.14, Night £16.44 per hour; a full rate card is provided on application.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving and part on foot to complete routes.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and restricted items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide exceptional service and pride yourself on representing Royal Mail in the community.
