Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Data Validator for the Neurology & Rheumatology Department at Southmead Hospital. You will validate patient pathways against RTT targets, review data quality, and support improvements under the Data Validation & Performance Lead.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, working across information management systems and Careflow, and contributing to accurate waiting-time reporting.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level with Maths and English.
• Experience working in the NHS or similar organisation is desirable.
• Experience working in a busy multi-disciplinary team and under pressure.
• Good keyboard skills and computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Regularly download and validate department performance reports from information management.
• Assist in monthly data validation tasks.
• Regularly check and clear uncashed outpatient appointments.
• Review past admission dates to ensure accuracy.
• Verify missing data in care pathways and support data quality improvements.
• Assist staff in using Careflow to prevent data quality issues.
