Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident General Cover Teacher to join our Northumberland team on a full-time, temporary basis. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and maintain calm, focused classrooms while covering staff absences.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent qualification, is skilled in classroom and behaviour management, and can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Confident with classroom and behaviour management.
• Flexible, reliable and adaptable to new settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Keep classrooms calm, focused, and engaging.
• Follow school behaviour policies and routines.
• Support pupils’ learning while covering staff absences.
• Provide feedback to schools where required.
