Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident General Cover Teacher to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis across partner schools in England. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain calm classrooms, and support pupils’ learning while covering staff absences.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent qualification, is adept at classroom and behaviour management, and can quickly adapt to new settings while building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Confident with classroom and behaviour management.
• Flexible, reliable, and quick to adapt to new settings.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Keep classrooms calm, focused, and engaging.
• Follow school behaviour policies and routines.
• Support pupils’ learning while covering staff absences.
• Provide feedback to schools where required.
