Job summary

Principal Education is seeking passionate, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as Unqualified Teachers and Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Buckinghamshire. Flexible daily supply roles with the chance for ongoing positions.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a safe, positive and productive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and eligibility for UK teaching-related roles.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to support pupils with SEN.
• Flexible, adaptable and confident to think on your feet.
• Calm, professional approach under pressure.
• DBS certificate (Enhanced) registered with Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Overseas police clearance if lived abroad in last 5 years.
• Based in Buckinghamshire or within a commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain a safe, positive and productive learning environment.
• Support pupils with learning, engagement and behaviour.
• Be flexible and adaptable to daily supply needs across Buckinghamshire.
