Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across the Newcastle area. This role offers flexible local work for those seeking classroom experience or for Qualified Teachers seeking additional opportunities.

You will deliver pre-set lessons, maintain order, and support students from KS2 to KS4. The role suits those with experience with young people and a drive to develop into teaching positions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in schools, youth work or coaching.
• Confident in managing classroom behaviour.
• Flexible and capable of covering different subjects.
• Covers Supervisor, aspiring teacher or trainee teachers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Support students across KS2 - KS4.
• Be adaptable to both last-minute bookings and scheduled assignments across local schools.
