Job summary

Engage Education is recruiting daily Cover Supervisors to support schools in Stockport on a supply basis. You can set your own weekly availability, with part-time or full-time options.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupils, manage behaviour, and help them complete set work while following safeguarding policies. Training is provided if needed, and all applicants must have a valid DBS check before starting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training can be provided.
• Must have some experience with young people.
• Able to adapt to challenging behaviour and different classrooms.
• Understand safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils and ensure they complete tasks.
• Manage behaviour.
• Assist pupils when they have questions.
• Follow safeguarding policies.
• Collect completed work and hand to Head of Department.
• Provide feedback on the lesson and pupils.
