TeacherActive is partnering with secondary schools in Chesterfield to recruit confident Cover Supervisors for the new academic year. The role is day-to-day, flexible work from September with potential long-term opportunities, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing behaviour and keeping students engaged.

The ideal candidate has at least six months' experience with young people in the UK, strong classroom management and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience working with young people in a UK setting.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned work across a variety of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain order and learning.
• Keep students engaged throughout lessons.
