CER Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Dartford, Gravesend, Medway, Maidstone, and the wider Kent area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in schools, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or similar settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence leading groups and managing classroom behaviour.
• Positive, professional, and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
• Access to reliable transport (preferred but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and effective learning environments
• Support student engagement and participation
• Assist pupils with SEN and additional learning needs where required
• Provide lesson feedback and attendance notes for teaching staff
• Uphold school safeguarding and behaviour policies
