Akari Care Limited is seeking a Kitchen / Catering Assistant to support residents in one of our care homes. You will help with menu creation, food plating, and serving, ensuring mealtimes are a positive, personalised experience for each resident.

Working closely with the Cook and catering team, you will tailor meals to individual religious and cultural needs while upholding our values of care, compassion, and excellence in a warm, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen and catering environments.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Caring nature with a personal approach to residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of kitchen processes, including menu planning, plating, and trolley organisation.
• Provide personalised meal service, respecting residents' religious and cultural needs and communicating with the care team.
