Buzz Bingo in South Shields is seeking a Customer Assistant on a 16 hour flexible contract across 7 days, including evenings and weekends. You will deliver friendly, personalised service, handle transactions, and help with a range of club duties.

Ideal candidates will have hospitality or retail experience, strong communication, and a proactive approach to safety and standards. Full training provided, with employee benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering first-class, personalised customer service face-to-face in hospitality, retail or leisure.
• Outstanding communication skills adaptable to different situations.
• Experience handling cash and basic numeracy.
• Confident challenging the status quo to ensure policies are followed.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and relationships with customers.
• Be flexible across all Club tasks from front of house to kitchens and housekeeping.
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager.
• Maintain a safer gambling environment for customers and colleagues.
