Job summary

INTO University Partnerships is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our Facilities Management Team at the University of Exeter International Study Centre. This role supports a clean, safe and welcoming environment across student accommodation, classrooms and offices.

Working hours are typically 07:00–16:00, with flexibility to cover 06:00–18:00. You will clean bedrooms, kitchens, communal areas and toilets, with opportunities for deeper cleaning as directed and support across sites.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding commitment and welfare responsibilities in line with policies.
• Pre-employment checks including references, identity, right to work, and DBS where applicable.
• Adherence to Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and disclosure requirements when relevant.

Responsibilities

• Clean student bedrooms and kitchens, plus communal areas, classrooms, corridors, offices, foyers and toilets.
• Support colleagues across different areas and carry out deep cleaning as directed.
