Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Cleaning Operative at Nether Currie Early Years School. You will work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 17:30-20:30, with a pro rata salary of £26,205-£26,525 for part time.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme check required
• Overseas Criminal Record Check may be needed if spent time outside UK

Responsibilities

• To empty litter and recycling bins.
• Clean all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings within a group of buildings.
• Clean sanitary areas, toilets and showers and replenish washroom consumables.
• Emergency and reactive cleaning as required (graffiti removal, spillages).
• Care and cleanliness of all equipment used in duties.
• Support cleaning tasks across other buildings when required.
