Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a Cleaning Operative to support client sites across Belfast. You will perform cleaning duties, maintain hygiene to high standards and ensure safe, welcoming environments. This role requires flexibility to cover shifts and ordinary working hours.

Ideal candidates have good English, eligibility to work in UK/Ireland, and a positive, reliable attitude. Full training will be provided, with opportunities for progression within ABM's facility services team.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work different hours
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good written and spoken English
• Eligible to work in Ireland/UK

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas, restocking consumables
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycle materials where appropriate
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report damages or supply needs
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
• Communicate effectively with site management and team members
