Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a Cleaning Operative in Belfast to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to high standards across client locations, contributing to safe and welcoming environments.

Key duties include cleaning, restroom and kitchen sanitization, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Ability to pass security vetting.
• Maths and English qualifications at school-leaving standard.
• Full clean driving licence may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Sanitize restrooms and kitchens and restock consumables.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials where appropriate.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report damages or supply needs.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Communicate with site management and team members.
