Job summary

ABM is seeking a Cleaning Operative in Belfast to maintain high standards of cleanliness across client locations. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, ensuring hygienic environments and compliance with safety policies.

The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure. Training will be provided, with opportunities to grow within ABM's cleaning and facilities management services.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas, restocking consumables as necessary.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycle materials where appropriate.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damages or supply needs.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the site management and team members.

SHIFT PATTERN: 28-32 hours per week

We are currently seeking diligent and motivated Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team.

Role Overview:

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standards in a variety of client locations. Your role is vital in ensuring safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas, restocking consumables as necessary.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycle materials where appropriate.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damages or supply needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to pass security requirements/vetting.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland/UK.
• Good written and spoken English.

Desired Qualifications:

• School leaving standard qualifications in Maths and English
• Full clean driving licence.

Desired Experience:

• Experience within the relevant industry, or a similar environment.
• Time spent in a customer service environment.
• Experience working within a results-orientated environment.
