Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a part-time General Assistant - Cleaning in Leek, UK. The role involves keeping communal areas, offices and kitchens clean and tidy, and supporting our retirement community residents with welcome and care-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning duties is desirable.
• Some experience in a domestic or catering environment.
• Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas, offices and kitchens clean and tidy.
• Complete all cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Report faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely.
• Help prepare meals and drinks while meeting customers’ needs and respecting privacy
