Job summary

TEAM is seeking a Class 1 Container Driver for short-distance moves between Tilbury, Purfleet and Grays. This ongoing ad hoc role offers day, night, and weekend shifts with full site training supplied to drivers new to containers.

Shifts and pay are flexible, with competitive hourly rates and weekly PAYE payments. You will perform around five moves per shift and complete required paperwork while adhering to site and road safety rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Category CE driving licence with commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• Good working knowledge of UK driving regulations.
• Must be aged 25 or over.

Responsibilities

• Collect containers from Tilbury and Purfleet and deliver to the Grays site.
• Complete ~5 container movements per shift.
• Couple and uncouple trailers safely.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
• Complete paperwork for each movement.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety rules.
