Job summary

Driver Support Services are recruiting HGV Class 1 day drivers for our client in Tilbury, focusing on container distribution across Tilbury docks, Gateway, and Felixstowe. You will join a growing team delivering a reliable, professional service to customers.

Applicants should have an HGV Class 1 licence (ideally 2 years) and previous driving experience (2 years preferred). Experience with slider/splitter trailers is useful for load handling.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence required; ideally with 2 years experience.
• 2 years driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload containers at Tilbury port and other ports as required.
• Familiar with container distribution and port yard procedures.
