Advance Housing & Support Ltd in Cornwall is seeking Casual Support Workers in St Austell to help adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs live the lives they choose. This role offers zero contracted hours with a mix of days, evenings and sleep-ins.

You must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle; mileage is paid at 0.55p per mile. Training and career development are provided, with many staff progressing to supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with preparing and cooking meals
• Support with attending medical appointments
• Support with social activities
• Support with independent skills
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
• Keeping up to date with your training
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
